Dustin Ryan Yu 2026 Teaware Release

We are very lucky and excited to offer a limited release of beautiful tea ware from Vancouver ceramicist Dustin Ryan Yu. Dustin is a coffee professional with a long history of crafting sought after pottery cups and accessories perfectly tailored for coffee as well as tea service and enjoyment. He is also a founder of Rice Ceramics studio. We have been longtime fans of his work and have collaborated in the past on a series of unique glazed gaiwans for gongfu tea brewing. 

Dustin is taking a well deserved break from active ceramics practice as he focuses on a series of exciting projects in the coffee world. As such, we are blessed and also sorry to say, that the pieces collected here are all she wrote for now. His skills and delicate hand in crafting beautifully light, tactile and elegant tea wares are quite evidently at a new peak, and while we know this isn't goodbye, it's a farewell for sure. It's been a pleasure to handle and photograph these works, and we're excited to get them into the hands of drinkers who will treasure them for years to come.
