Pale blue cups with a semi-transparent glaze allowing the off-white clay body to show through from underneath. In certain lights the blue is very cool, in other lights it reads more like a pale lilac purple.
The glaze has a shiny, nearly iridescent cast to it. It’s really reflective and catches and refracts light beautifully in different conditions. High gloss, rainbow-like refractivity.
Cup 1 - Round
This cup has a charming concave shape, inflating outwards before tapering to the base. It's also remarkably light.
Dimensions: 2.25” / 5.5cm tall
Capacity: 65ml
Cup 2 - Chiseled
Dimensions: 2.75” / 7cm tall
Capacity: 70ml
The shape on this one is defined by a convex taper from mid-cup to base. It is a little taller than Cup 1 with a slightly larger volume.
Or, buy both as a set. As long as both are still available, why not take both? The glaze is a perfect match, even though the forms are different.
