What is Softer?

Softer Drink is a specialty non-alcoholic drinks retailer and distributor, operating in-store in Victoria BC, selling directly to you here on our website, and on a wholesale basis to specialty retail shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. We ship retail & tea wholesale orders North America wide, and offer drink wholesale in BC. 

Who are we?

Softer Drink, est. 2021, is owned and operated by Andrea & Jonathan. Together we have two lifetimes of obsessive pleasure in beverage, and a combined 30+ years as professionals serving and studying wine, coffee, tea, craft beer, soda, and anything else that catches our fancy. Our goal in Softer Drink is to improve your access to what you wish was in your glass.

Our webshop offers a selection of drinks from various producers and distributors from near and far - the drinks we think offer something great in their category.

As of December 4, 2024 we are thrilled to announce the opening of our first brick and mortar store in Victoria BC. Open 5 days a week Tuesday to Saturday, we offer a complete and curated selection of the best in non-alcoholic and specialty drinks, as well as unique teas and teaware. We will have in-store tasting as well as the opportunity to brew and try different teas, and are looking forward to opening a licensed kitchen facility to make and sell house-made drinks of all kinds. We live and are based in 'Victoria, BC'. We acknowledge that our business is based on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən people, and we respect the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
