  • August 22: The Morning Mix 5K

    Free fun 5K - starting at Pioneer Square (Quadra St at Broughton St) and finishign at Softer Drink Shop. Bluetooth jams provided throughtout the run route, DJs and chilling afterwards at Softer Drink. Sets from Almost Magic & Dj Buisa. Giveaways and special drinks all day. :)

    Even if you don’t want to run you can come hang at Softer - music going until 1:30 ish on Saturday.

  • September 5: Brain Bath [Vancouver]

    Gong fu cha tea service in the club was such a hit we’re doing it again. Pilgrims of the Mind is performing live for the first time in 25 yrs!! Their album ‘What’s Your Shrine’ caught our attention when it was re-released a few years ago on vinyl - such a cool piece of Vancouver dance music history. Normal bar service provided by the venue, tea service (free and paid options) provided by us all night. :)

  • OCT 3: Victoria Tea Festival

    Presented by the International Tea Appreciation Society, it’s the 11th annual Victoria Tea Festival Revival. The tea festival is always a great time - vendors from the south island as well as greater vancouver area specializing in tea and teaware of styles will be present. A full day of tea drinking, symposia, entertainment, and a really big tea haul at the end of it.

  • Friday June 26: Bar Tender Vol 4 feat. Marae of Viriditas Apothecary

    6-9pm, free, drop-in

    Bar Tender is an ongoing evening series featuring a guest music selector, and a special menu of drinks made based on their food/drink/plant/flavour memories. Marae is a small scale regenerative farmer and folk herbalist with great taste in music. Join us on Friday to celebrate the start of summer!

  • Saturday July 4: HEAT - a fashion show presented by VicFits (offsite)

    We’ll be tending bar at HEAT, the event of the summer - a street style fashion show where the Fernwood Skate Park is the runway. We’ll be at the afterparty too :)
