These cups are all about texture. The clay body itself is made of a brown clay, and the glaze is a deep semi-gloss brown that is reminiscent of spent coffee grounds. Interior glaze matches exterior glaze. There is a pleasing fine grit texture to the exterior in the hand.
In dim lighting the cups appear to be nearly black, but in brighter lighting a warmth is revealed. There are hits of deep mossy green that seem to emerge from beneath the main glaze.
We have 2 cups - they both resemble each other closely in shape and texture, though one is very slightly taller.
Dimensions: Both cups are approximately 2.5” / 6cm tall, one being slightly shorter and narrower.

Or, buy both as a set. The glaze is a perfect match, but one cup is slightly taller.
