Shipping policy

Please be aware that your order will be held -not shipped- if you live somewhere where temperatures are at or below freezing and look to stay that way for the foreseeable future. 

We will be in touch to communicate any details of your shipment in the event that it cannot be shipped straight away. 

We will always be happy to offer a refund if the delay is not satisfactory to you. 

We will be monitoring the weather forecast and will do our best to get your order out to you if at all feasible, and will personally source quotes from couriers to ensure your order is delivered as quickly as possible, minimizing time spent on cold trucks in cold weather.

Flat Rate Shipping to Canada and the USA

Flat rate shipping is available on all orders under 5kg. This is approximately 12 standard cans of drinks or 3-4 bottles of wine. Or, a huge amount of tea.

Flat rate orders will ship either via Canada Post 'Expedited Parcel' (7-12 full business days, tracking included), or via Sendle (5-10 business days, depending on your location, tracking included.)

Thank you for understanding that shipping heavy bottles full of liquids can start to really add up, and if we were to subsidize shipping any further for you we would simply no longer be in business. Please contact us if you have any questions or comments about shipping - we are happy to get quotes from other carriers as the case may be.

All orders are packed within 2 business days of receipt, unless noted on our website that we are on a holiday and order fulfillment will be delayed until our return.

If received before a holiday weekend we may make the call to hold on shipping until afterwards - we will use our discretion to ensure your order is not in transit longer than necessary or exposed to harmful temperatures.

All orders are shipped with tracking and insurance, and we take full responsibility for the safe delivery of your package within the quoted deliver timeline. Any damage or delay prior to receiving your items will be addressed as quickly as possible, and a full refund offered where items have not been received in the condition in which they were sent.

Free Shipping

Free shipping is offered on all tea and teaware purchases above 79$ Canadian, or $59 USD for American customers. 

Notes on Winter Shipping Policy for Drinks

During winter months, drinks that are at risk of freezing during shipping will be subject to possible additional delays as we monitor weather conditions closely and seek to time shipments for the least risk of damage during shipping. Because we take full responsibility of the safety of your order until it reaches you, we do everything possible to prevent freeze damage, including paying extra costs for added protection and faster shipping. We will be in touch if there is a need to communicate any additional delays, and you are always welcome to either have your order refunded in full, or receive quotes for faster and safer shipping options.
