Zamalek ‘Sparkling Hibiscus Ginger'

Hot off the canning line from Montreal’s hibiscus HQ - meet Zamalek ‘Sparkling Hibiscus Ginger’. 

First of all, this drink pours the most beautiful magenta colour we’ve ever seen in beverage form. (Second only to the deep fuschia of Zamalek’s original sparkling hibiscus drink.) 

Hibiscus and ginger are 2 intense flavours that Zamalek coax into a complex harmony. A splash of real pineapple juice finesses the blend, softening everything and providing a beautiful smooth texture. Insanely refreshing and grounding at the same time.

All of these ingredients are a classic nod to bissap, the west African hibiscus preparation that inspired this flavour. Developed in collaboration with Ausgang Plaza, a multidisciplinary art and music space, the venue and its team wanted to create a hibiscus drink that reflected their own relationship to hibiscus. We’re so glad that we all get to enjoy the result.
