UKAW Cacao Tea

UKAW is a women-owned and family run venture that just recently launched here in Victoria, BC. With friends and family connections back in Peru, they have a direct line on cacao husks for this unique tea.  

Cacao tea is made of the steepable exterior of cocoa pods. It brews up as a naturally chocolate-y beverage that is unique and yet comforting. You can enjoy it as is or with added milk or sugar. Cacao tea does not have caffeine or notable theobromine content (the stimulating aspects of chocolate) so feel free to drink 24 hours a day.

Word on the street is it makes a mean ‘London Fog’ - more like Lima Fog!! Give it a go and let us know what you think!
