Stads Haven Moray IPA 0.4%

A light and fruity non-alcoholic IPA flavoured with Carambola (aka starfruit) and tangerine, in honour of the brewery’s history - the current facilities were the former warehouse of the Netherlands’ largest fruit importer. 

About the brand

Founded in 2021, Stadshaven Bouwerij is now the second-largest independent craft brewery in the Netherlands. They’re located on the Rotterdam waterfront in a former cargo warehouse.

In the 1970s a fruit importer took over the warehouse, and they were famous especially for bringing unique citrus fruits to the Netherlands, which Stads Haven honour today by incorporating unique fruits into some of their beers.  Their name and beers reference nautical themes as well, which is surely just a reference to their location’s history of being a port. Stads Haven purport to value sustainability, using a ‘closed loop’ brewing system that wastes minimal water.
