A grenache/cinsault blend (80/20) from a winemaking family that can trace their family roots in their village in Languedoc to 1550. They make both conventional and de-alcoholised wines.
This de-alcoholised rosé is lower in sugar than many (3.3g/ 125ml glass), and feels very lean on the palate. A bit of a funky cave like mineral aroma on the nose leads to lovely notes of unripe pear and grapefruit peel. A sense of crispness on the palate is very welcome, very reminiscent of the classic Provençal style.
