Roots Divino Non- Alcoholic Aperitif Rosso

An herbaceous Mediterranean vermouth-style aperitif made with Greek herbs and Greek wine. Roots Divino’s rosso vermouth is a bittersweet drink halfway between a red italian vermouth and something more bitter like. Campari.

Rosso’s bitterness comes mainly from gentian root, plus bitter orange peel. Herbs from the greek islands like wormwood, oregano and thyme provide a savoury experience that is both contemporary and extremely historic - before the romans were aromatizing their wines, Greeks were adding wormwood to wine as a health tonic, and mixing herbal remedies into vinegars.

Enjoy on ice with tonic water or soda, or spritz it up with a splash of fizzy wine as well.

About the brand

Roots was founded in 2013 by two Greek brothers seeking to make quality herbal liqueurs, both with and without alcohol. With a family connection to Greece’s oldest distillery, they have ties to the beverage industry going back to 1850. All of their products feature botanicals grown in Greece, including traditional native species. Multiple award winning and at the forefront of European non-alcoholic vermouth culture.
