Matte Green Ruyao-Glazed Xishi Teapot 175ml

A very subtle pale matte ruyao-glazed Xishi shape teapot. The ruyao glaze will 'craze' with use, revealing its crackle pattern after the tea stains the cracks. Glazed on the inside as well so a good daily driver for any style of tea. Nylon cord can be removed if desired. 

A nice little teapot for gong fu cha style brewing - but a slightly more generous volume than many gaiwans means you can reach for this guy if you have guests and want to brew up a bit more tea than you might for a solo session. (Or perhaps you are just feeling thirsty, no shame.) 

Note on colour - monitor settings and personal perception varies. This is a very subtle colour that when placed next to something more obviously green such as our shop walls, the brain somehow sees less green in the actual object. It’s kind of like if ‘Robin’s egg blue’ was a little bit warmer.
