Martini has been synonymous with vermouth/botanical aperitifs since they launched in 1864 in Turin.
Their story began with a sweet red vermouth, and later a sweet white vermouth was added, with the line expanding over the years. For their alcoholic product line, they famously work with wine from Piedmont and many of their botanicals sourced directly from growers in the region.
Their non-alcoholic vermouth was launched in 2020 - first Floreale, a sweet botanical vermouth, then Vibrante, a bitter red style aperitif, in the Turin tradition.
The red ‘Vibrante’ is akin to a red bitter (think camp*ri), using de-alcohol used wine and bergamot peel and other botanical extracts to create a layered yet approachable aperitif that’s perfect with soda, tonic, or in a spritz.
‘Floreale’ is less bitter, more herbaceous, and uses Roman chamomile as the core floral note. Chamomile can be aromatic but also offers a unique savoury scent that is not overbearing.
Now owned by Bacardi, Martini has the global reach to offer botanical alcohol free drinks at a friendly price point.
