Unglazed small tea cups with glazed lids for easy sipping, made by Laughing Gnome Pottery on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Inspired by the high-fired wares of Yixing and their renowned influence on the character of the liquid they hold, these are high-iron, high-fired ceramics that are ultra-hard, light-weight, with a fine microscopic porous clay body that will interact with water to soften flavours and impart minerality.
