Single origin farm direct black tea sourced by the famed Diaspora Spice Co. Organic, regeneratively grown and the epitome of fair and direct trade. Chota Tingrai was the first Indian owned tea plantation after independence, and to this day remains one of the few independent and family owned tea companies in a landscape dominated by large multinational corporations.

This is a lively, CTC processed black tea - Cut, Tear, Curl - the leaf processing method commonly used for "normal" black tea bags, and the standard style for making chai. Ideally paired with Diaspora's incredible chai masala, but a fresh and fulsome cup all on it's own too.
