Collective Arts IPA

A fruit-forward and compelling non-alcoholic IPA from the crafty minds of Ontario's Collective Arts. IPA just scratches the surface here, because this non-alc ale is really doing a lot of things at once that we love.

If they'd called it a hazy we'd have been in full agreement, because while not heavy in the way hazies can be, it shares a lot of characteristics with their wonderful non-alc Hazy Pale Ale. Same grain bill of barley complemented by wheat and oats, similar spectacularly bright golden colour in the glass, similar initial aromas of tropical hops and zesty esters. But then the long finish kicks in and you are delivered a finish that says oldschool IBUs.

The hop bitterness is very respectable for a non-alc IPA, without compromising drinkability of course- this is no monster DIPA. But from that fluffy Southern Hemisphere hop profile (no idea the actual hops in play here), a classic pine and citrus finish rides like a tidal wave across the palate. This is a super solid non-alc IPA and really stands out among the landacape of non-alc IPAs for a unique and crushable style. A+.
