OSCO - Le Rouge Ardent Non-alcoholic Aperitif

OSCO makes premium non-alcoholic apéritifs in the Périgord region of France. (Famous for truffles and perfume - a gourmand's paradise.) 

OSCO's bittersweet aperitifs are built on a base of verjus (tart underripe grape juice), with gentian root for the bitterness. 

'Le Rouge Ardent' ('fiery red') aperitif is fruity and spicy, featuring cherry, cinnamon, and ginger.

This red aperitif has a touch more sweetness and body compared to their 'original' aperitif, but overall the sweetness is extremely low compared to other herbal liqueurs available. (3.3g/50ml / 2ish ounces) 

Mixes with soda water for a not-sweet-at-all spritz; or add a splash of ginger ale or tonic for a warming and digestive non-alc cocktail. 

Sweetness and colour comes from fruit concentrates, and the main ingredients, which include verjus (tart underripe grape juice), come from organically grown ingredients from the south of France. 

The price point is a little more premium, but you don't need other supporting ingredients to make a good drink with it, so we believe a bottle of this offers great value to the home non-alc bartender.
