'Noughty' Rose by Thomson & Scott

Noughty. Normally we wouldn't buy something with such a cute name, but we set our values aside for this one because their wines always taste excellent and we know you'll love them. 

Rose. Dry, lean, minerally, fruity, a beautiful light provencal-style rose. A nice aperitif, or easy to pair with nearly any meal.

The wine is a blend of 99% chenin blanc and 1% pinotage, and is grown and vinified on the western cape of South Africa. It is cold-fermented to retain fresh fruity notes like berries and peaches, and then spends 2 months on lees to add a bit of texture and depth. It then undergoes a gentle vacuum de-alcoholisation process, resulting in a delicate wine with freshness and minerality.
