ONES+ 2021 Sparkling Red

Honestly, cheers. Canada's first domestic non-alcoholic (1%) wine couldn't come from better people in a better place. Direct from the Okanagan VQA aka Canada's Napa, ONES+ are wines of character and place.

The ONES+ 2021 Sparkling Red is the non-alc lambrusco we have all been waiting for. Sorry, "be the change" and all that, we want to see everybody drinking more sparkling reds, especially when they're DRY DRY DRY, tannic, tea-like, and a little funny - and this little number fits the bill perfectly. 

BC Cabernet Franc brings crunchy plum, currant, and pomegranate notes; gentle acidity and a lick of tannins offer a textural drinking experience. Drink chilled and pour into your favourite normal wine glass to enjoy the pleasing frothiness and subtle aromatics.

As with most non-alc wines, you have to 'get on its level' - clear your mind, and your mouth of any comparisons to something else and just take it as it is. And it's a very enjoyable little wine indeed. Also available in convenient 250ml cans.
